Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about email security and deliverability.

SPF lists the servers allowed to send email for your domain. DKIM adds a digital signature proving the email came from you and wasn't changed. DMARC tells receivers what to do when an email fails both, and sends you reports about who is sending as your domain.
A real email shows what actually happens when you send: which server sent it, whether it was signed, and whether it passed. A DNS-only check can only see what's published, and it has to guess where your DKIM key lives. You can still run the quick DNS check below the test address.

The one your business uses with customers, like [email protected]. If your website, CRM, or booking system sends email for you, send a second test from that system too, since each sending service needs its own setup.
