Breezy (getbreezy.app) shut down on July 25, 2026. Its AI receptionist, texting, web chat and CRM no longer work, and customers had to move their phone numbers and export their data before that date. If Breezy answered your phones, you need a replacement that can take over your number.

What happened to Breezy
Breezy was an AI front-office app for small service businesses: an AI receptionist bundled with a CRM, scheduling, two-way texting and a simple website, on a flat monthly plan. In 2026 it announced it was winding down. According to its official notice:
- June 25, 2026: the last billing date. Monthly customers weren't charged again.
- July 25, 2026: the service turned off completely, including AI calls, texts, web chat and the CRM.

What about your Breezy number and data?
A phone number can only be ported while it's still active with the old provider. Breezy customers were asked to email the founders, have their number released, and start a port with their new provider before July 25.
- Already ported? You're set. Point your new provider's AI receptionist at that number and you're back in business.
- Port still in progress, or your number stopped working? Contact your new provider today. Recovering a number after the old service has shut down is much harder, and sometimes it isn't possible.
- Data: Breezy's CRM is gone with the service, so anything not exported before shutdown may not be recoverable. Rebuild your contact list from your phone, email and invoices.

What to look for in a Breezy replacement
After a provider disappears, a few things matter more than they did before:
- Number porting help. Choose a provider that will take over your number and handle the port for you.
- A pricing model that adds up. Flat "unlimited" plans are hard for AI companies to sustain because every minute of AI has a real cost. Clear minute or call allowances are easier to trust long term.
