How to Forward Your TELUS Number to Zinng

Use TELUS call forwarding to send your calls to your Zinng AI receptionist. Forward only the calls you miss, or send every call straight to Zinng. Setup takes about two minutes.

This is the number we set up for your agent (in your dashboard under AI Phone Agents → Agents). Type it once and every code below fills in automatically. Enter all 10 digits.

On a TELUS cell phone

Open your phone's dialer, type the code, and press call. You will hear a tone or see a short confirmation that forwarding is on.

Option 1: Forward only the calls you don't answer (recommended)

Your phone rings first. If you don't pick up, the call rolls over to Zinng so the caller still reaches your receptionist.

The 20 is how many seconds your phone rings before the call forwards. You can use 10, 20, or 30.

To turn this off, dial #61# and press call.

Option 2: Send every call straight to Zinng

Zinng answers all calls without ringing your phone at all.

To turn this off, dial #21# and press call.

If a code doesn't go through, turn off Wi-Fi calling first, then try again while connected to the TELUS cellular network. Forwarding controls run over the cellular network, not over Wi-Fi.

On a TELUS home or office landline

Forward all calls

Pick up the handset, wait for the dial tone, then dial *72 followed by your Zinng number. On some lines you dial *72, wait for a second dial tone, then dial the number. Listen for the two short confirmation beeps.

To turn it off, pick up the handset and dial *73 (on some TELUS residential lines this is 73#). Listen for the confirmation tone.

Want your line to ring first and only forward the calls you miss? On a TELUS landline that is "Call Forward No Answer," which TELUS sets on your account rather than with a dial code. Call TELUS and ask them to point Call Forward No Answer at your Zinng number, or reach out to us and we'll set it up with you on a quick call.

Confirm it works

From a different phone, call your TELUS number. If you forwarded only missed calls, let it ring through without answering; if you forwarded all calls, it goes straight through. Within a few rings, Zinng should pick up and greet the caller. If it does, you're all set.

Heads up: forwarded calls use minutes on your TELUS plan. Most plans include thousands of forwarding minutes to Canada and the US each month.
